Kippen Village Hall has completed another major improvement, thanks to a £9,442 grant from the Community Led Local Development Fund for Rural Forth Valley and Lomond (CLLD).
As part of the project, new flooring has been installed in the foyer, upper landing, stairway and stage area. The modern surface not only improves the look of the building but also provides a durable, non-slip finish, making it safer for the many groups, performances and community events that take place at the hall. It also makes cleaning and maintenance much easier for volunteers.
The grant also enabled the purchase of a high platform ladder, which is already proving extremely useful. It allows volunteers to safely access high areas when adjusting ceiling lights, fans and the stage lighting bar, tasks that previously required more difficult arrangements.

“This is the last major part of the refurbishments at the Hall completed. It has been a very exciting and productive two years’ work and one of our first funders was the CLLD – and now they have come back to finish the job. We are simply very grateful to them and to all those who have made this wonderful project possible.”
