Hillhouse paves the way for a more accessible Kippen Village Hall
Generous business steps in with generous practical support for the community
Kippen Village Hall is celebrating another major milestone in its refurbishment – and this time it is literally paving the way for better access.
Family-owned Hillhouse Group has stepped in to provide its skills and services free of charge to improve the area immediately outside the Hall.
CPR Class – Great Success!
Twenty people benefited from the most recent CPR class run buy the Trossachs Search & Rescue team in September. They learned about basic life-saving actions and how to use a defibrillator.
The class also covered child life-saving and other simple assistance activities and what to do in emergencies. The worst thing anyone can do is nothing! So having the courage to step up and help is an essential part of all our lives.

123rd Flower Show Success
Kippen Village Flower Show took place last Saturday for the 123rd time.
The array of beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables was outstanding this year.
The village turned up yet again and many friends from around the area crowded the Hall to see the show and claim their cups and prizes… the tallest sunflower was amazing but the best in show went to the rhubarb and ginger gin!
It just goes to show it’s not all about giant marrows!
New Grant for the Hall
We are delighted to announce that further funding has been successful for Kippen Village Hall. A total of £23,531 has been received.
We have a new grant towards the Audio Visual equipment, to enable us to livestream and have online meetings, as well as improve the sound in the Hall.
Dancercise!

Community Celebration Marks New Chapter for Historic Village Hub
A packed celebration at Kippen Village Hall marked the successful completion of an
ambitious fundraising campaign that has transformed the much-loved community venue for generations to come.
Around 100 guests gathered at the Hall to celebrate the remarkable achievement of raising more than £208,750 in just 18 months — exceeding the original £200,000 target and securing the future of the Hall for the next century.
New Hands, Hearts & Healing Wellbeing Group

This is a relaxed, friendly session open to all, featuring self-massage calming techniques, aromatherapy, mindfulness and breathwork.
